About the Position

Responsibilities

•Assist in the proactive asset management of a portfolio of opportunistic commercial real estate equity investments across a portfolio of industrial assets.

•Review and analyze business plans, loan documents, lease approvals, construction draws, leasing activity and monthly property operating performance.

•Interact with borrowers to ensure compliance with loan documents, debt covenants and operating agreements.

•Analyze new real estate equity investment opportunities, focused on the industrial asset class

•Underwrite and value real estate (industrial) by building property level financial models and performing DCF and/or direct capitalization analysis.

•Assist is preparation of Investment Committee memos and participate in deal presentations to senior management.

•Perform property level due diligence and market studies.

•Prepare ad hoc excel and PowerPoint projects/presentations

Qualifications

•At least one to two years of experience working in the real estate finance industry. Will potentially contemplate summer internships towards years of experience

•A bachelor’s degree from a top university with a GPA of at least 3.5

•Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic

•Team-player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

•Proven ability to multitask and quickly understand new concepts.

•Strong quantitative, written, and oral communication skills

•Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint


The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $85,000 and $100,000.

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
